2022 Ford Edge

The 2022 Ford Edge is available in five trims: SE, SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and ST. Standard features include 18-inch wheels and LED headlights. A black appearance package available on the SE includes 19-inch gloss black wheels, black badging, and modified exterior trim, grille, and bumpers. Moving up to the SEL trim adds an optional Adventure package with 18-inch carbonized wheels with all-terrain tires and black and gray exterior accents. The ST-Line adds features to the SEL trim, including black exterior trim and lower front and rear fascias, 20-inch gloss black wheels, and body-colored lower cladding and bumpers. The Titanium trim adds premium features like a hands-free liftgate and 19-inch wheels. The sporty ST builds on the SEL trim with 20-inch black-painted wheels and body-colored and black exterior trim. A panoramic glass roof is an optional feature for the ST-Line and Titanium.

There are two available engines for the 2022 Ford Edge. The base engine for most trims is the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque and is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The ST trim features the amped-up 2.7-liter turbocharged V-6 engine delivering 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, and it is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission.

All-wheel drive is standard, regardless of the trim you choose. For the ST-Line and Titanium trims, you can select the towing package that includes a Class II hitch. Going with the sporty ST shows off the Edge's performance features such as sport-tuned suspension. The ST Performance Brake package highlights bigger brakes with performance pads and red-painted calipers, and summer tires for better grip and improved cooling.

The base SE trim is well-equipped with a six-speaker audio system controlled by an infotainment system with integrated Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also includes dual-zone automatic climate control and keyless entry with push-button start. Moving up to the SEL gives you several upgrades, such as a nine-speaker audio system, power-adjustable and heated front seats, and simulated leather upholstery. Opting for the ST-Line gives you some sporty looks with ActiveX faux leather seats and red accent interior stitching. The high-end Titanium offers plush upgrades such as additional power adjustments for the passenger seat, leather upholstery, Convenience package standard, and a premium 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. The Lux package gives you heated rear seats and ventilation in the front seats. The ST also has a different version of the Lux package that includes suede-like upholstery and front sport seats with silver stitching.

Standard safety features include the Ford Co-Pilot360, which includes automatic high beams, a blind-spot monitor with cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision mitigation. Selecting any trim higher than SE adds Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ with adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, and a navigation system. The Lux package offered for the Titanium trim includes an automated parking system.
