The 2022 Ford Escape is available in seven trim levels: S, SE, SE Hybrid, SEL, SEL Hybrid, Titanium, and Titanium Hybrid. It's also available in eight exterior colors: Atlas Blue, Star White, Rapid Red, Stone Blue, Iced Blue Silver, Iconic Silver, Carbonized Gray, and Agate Black.

Engine (Power)
Drivers can choose their powertrain of choice in the 2022 Ford Escape, with gas, plug-in, and hybrid options available. Standard, the 2022 Ford Escape comes equipped with a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine with auto start-stop technology. A 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, also with auto start-stop technology, is available as an upgrade.
A 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain is also available and comes paired with a 96 kW electric motor. Finally, the Ford Escape is available in a plug-in version with a 2.5-liter powertrain with the ability to fully charge in just 3.5 hours using a Level 2 charger.
Performance
With a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, you can take your Ford Escape on your next rugged adventure. The available hands-free foot-activated liftgate makes it easy to access your cabin's cargo. The all-wheel-drive system with AWD disconnect means the Ford Escape automatically stops using all-wheel drive when it's not needed, thus improving your overall performance. With selectable drive modes, you can fine-tune your Ford Escape's performance to match your current road type. Available drive modes include Normal, Slippery, Eco, Sport, and Deep Snow/Sand.
Interior
Turn your daily commute into your daily retreat with features like the available panoramic Vista Roof and leather-trimmed, heated front seats. Plug in your smartphone and stream your favorite songs over the available Bang & Olufsen sound system. With Sync3, you can also access your favorite apps or make phone calls using your voice. Keep your smartphone charged for the ride with the available wireless charging pad.
FordPass Connect provides access to 4G Wi-Fi by AT&T for up to 10 devices. Amazon's Alexa is also available in the 2022 Ford Escape, allowing you to shop or access your smart home controls, all while sitting in traffic.
