The 2022 Ford Mustang is available in five trim levels: EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, GT Premium, and Mach 1. Ford also adds a few new colors to the 2022 model, including Cyber Orange or the Ford-exclusive Performance paint color, Code Orange. Also new for 2022 are five new special editions, including the Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition. Drivers can also choose from either a sedan or convertible design. The exterior of the Ford Mustang pairs the design cues of the iconic Mustang brand with a few modern updates. An updated rear spoiler comes standard on coupe versions of the Mustang. Engine (Power)
Regardless of which trim level you choose, you can expect a thrilling performance in the 2022 Ford Mustang. The Ford Mustang comes powered with a 2.3-liter turbocharged engine with 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. For added power, choose the available 2.3-liter high-performance engine with 332 horsepower.
A 5.0-liter V-8 engine is also available, offering 450 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The Mach 1 version of the 2022 Ford Mustang is specifically designed for the track with a total of 470 horsepower. Both a six-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic transmission are available.
