The FOX Racing Shox system is designed to accommodate all terrain conditions, automatically adjusting the vehicle suspension as needed. The Watts-Link suspension gives the Ranger ultimate control off the road, centering the rear axle on the trails. Drivers can add off-roading features like an exposed steel bash plate to their Ranger with the FX4 Off-Road Package. The Trail Control feature allows you to enjoy low-speed and controlled driving off the road. An off-road screen shows your vehicle’s pitch and roll angles on your off-roading experiences.

3. The Vehicle Performance

A new Ford Ranger is available in two powertrains: the 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine with 405 hp and 430 pound-feet of torque and the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine with 315 hp and 400 pound-feet of torque. It also has impressive towing and hauling capabilities with a max towing capacity of 7,500 pounds. It’s equipped with all the tools to tow heavy loads confidently, including a trailer light check function, a trailer brake controller, and a Pro-Trailer backup assist.
