Few SUVs offer the reliable power and cutting-edge technology that the adventurous 2025 Ford Escape does, and thanks to its smaller size, this compact SUV also provides exceptional handling.

Fuel-Savvy Engines and Versatility

With a gas-powered 181-horsepower 1.5-liter engine that gets an estimated 30 MPG in city/highway mileage under the hood, this SUV is more than ready for both daily drives and long-distance journeys. If more power is needed, there’s also a 2.0-liter engine with 250 horses, also gas-powered.

The third engine option is a 2.5-liter hybrid that pairs with both a regular powertrain and a hybrid plug-in one. With the regular powertrain, this engine delivers 191 horsepower and up to 42 MPG, and with the plug-in powertrain, power is boosted to 210 horses and mileage increases to 101 MPGe in combined city/highway driving. All-wheel drive is available in lower trims and comes standard in most upper trims while the multimode Selectable Drive Modes feature comes standard in all.

Comfortable and Designed for Fun

The Escape’s cabin blends luxury with convenience, with dual-zone climate control and power windows coming standard and a 60/40 split-folding rear bench seat found in every model. The instrument panel has Ice Blue lighting around it, which complements the vehicle’s other interior aesthetics along with the many stylish fabric options ranging from unique cloth to synthetic, easy-to-clean ActiveX material, depending on trim level. Both power-adjustable, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are available for select trims as well.

Convenience features can be found outside as well, with the standard liftgate offering an available power function and roof-rack side rails ready to accommodate bike racks and cargo storage boxes. The available Panoramic Vista Power Roof adds to the vehicle’s modern design, as does stylish LED signature lighting and a Piano Black grille, while the dual chrome exhaust tips lend the vehicle both a sporty appearance and sound. Select trims also come with heated side mirrors for tackling colder mornings.

Advanced Technology and Safety

Along with multiple USB ports for charging devices, this edition offers an available wireless charging pad among its many tech highlights. Other tech features include Intelligent Access With Push-Button Start, audio steering wheel-mounted controls, an 8-inch full-color instrument cluster, and the SYNC 4 infotainment system, all standard. Select trims come with a 12.3-inch full-color instrument cluster instead, remote start, and offer an available B&O audio sound system with 10 speakers and a windshield head-up display.

This SUV also comes with standard safety and driver-assist features that include BLIS (Blind Spot Information System), Auto High-Beam Headlamps, and Pre-Collision Assist, which itself comes with Dynamic Brake Support, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Pedestrian Braking. Rear parking sensors, Intersection Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Evasive Steering Assist are just some of the many available systems.
