Named after Ford’s iconic pony car and its Mach 1 variant, the Mustang Mach-E is an all-electric compact crossover that boasts thrilling performance and impressive range. It also comes packed with cutting-edge technology and many standard amenities. Here’s a quick guide to the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E at your local Ford dealer.

Powertrain

The Mustang Mach-E’s powertrain is available in a number of configurations to better suit drivers’ needs. In its standard form, the vehicle comes in a sporty rear-wheel drive layout with a single electric motor. All-wheel drive versions of the Mach-E have two electric motors, one on each axle. While the Select trim produces up to 311 hp, GT and GT Performance Edition models are equipped with a powerplant that puts out a whopping 480 hp.

An EPA-rated driving range of close to 250 miles is provided by the Mustang Mach-E’s standard 70-kWh battery, but buyers may choose an extended-range 91-kWh battery allowing for a range of more than 300 miles. The vehicle comes with a Level 1 charger that plugs into a 120-volt outlet and adds about 30 miles of range overnight. An available Level 2 charger uses a 240-volt outlet to give about 28 miles of range every hour.

Chassis

With a fully independent suspension featuring front MacPherson struts and a multi-link setup in the rear, the Mustang Mach-E promises excellent handling and a comfortable ride. The GT Performance Edition features Ford’s MagneRide damping system, which automatically adapts the suspension to a variety of conditions for sharper response. Well-weighted, speed-sensitive steering results in effortless direction changes.

Cabin

Inside the Mustang Mach-E, you’ll find a futuristic-looking interior with spacious seating for five people. Sitting on top of the sleek dashboard is a fully digital 10.2-inch instrument panel. The SUV sports standard ActiveX leatherette-wrapped seats, a supportive 8-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support, and a wireless charging station. Other models offer perforated upholstery and a panoramic sunroof.

The 60/40 split-folding rear seats can be folded down flat, expanding maximum cargo space from 34.4 cubic feet to 64.4 cubic feet. A frunk located under the hood provides additional storage space and features a floor drain, allowing you to use the compartment as a cooler.

Infotainment

Every Mustang Mach-E gets a 15.5-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system running Sync 4A. Support for smartphone integration, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot are all included. Connected built-in navigation comes with pinch-to-zoom capability, live traffic updates, and an EV trip planner. An available 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium audio system delivers an incredible listening experience.

Fast, agile, and high-tech—the Mustang Mach-E is undoubtedly one of the most exciting EVs on the market. Visit Bob Maxey Ford of Howell today and check it out for yourself!
